With effect from August 1, 2024, Nicole Ribeiro Pereira will take over as Director Claims Management at Delvag Versicherungs-AG. Previously, as Head of Cargo Claims, she was already responsible for the cargo-related area of claims management services.

Nicole Ribeiro Pereira succeeds René Schmalen, who moved to central insurance management at Deutsche Lufthansa AG at the end of 2023, as Head of Claims.

In her new role, she will report to Dr. Andreas Biegel, Head of the Legal/Claims division at Delvag. Biegel is very pleased with the new appointment:

With her many years of expertise in the aviation sector, her networking and her strong legal background, she is a great asset to our team. Ribeiro Pereira began her professional career in 2015 as a fully qualified lawyer, at the compliance consultancy WTS Group. In 2016, she moved to Lufthansa's corporate legal department, where she worked as an in-house lawyer in compliance. Ribeiro Pereira has been Head of Cargo Claims at the Delvag Group since 2020. In her new management role, she will lead a department with 20 employees from August 1.
